In the event that you fail to improve your performance, it may result in disciplinary action being taken and your performance review being extended for a further 4 weeks.Your PIP should last no longer than 12 weeks. By the end of the performance review process the outcome should be: • Performance has improved and has all the standards expected – no further action will be taken however should your performance dip within the following months you may be put back on the performance review and pick up where you left off • Your performance has still not improved – the process has been exhausted, which could result in disciplinary action up to and including dismissal. 5.7 HOLDING GENERAL MANAGER ROLE If you are appointed as a holding General Manager, this means that you have been given temporary responsibility as the General Manager of your restaurant.
