Lights, Camera, Attraction!

With pressure mounting on resourcing teams to streamline, speed up and standardise processes (whilst to of course also innovate and inspire), it appears more businesses are tuning in to video interviewing.
And it’s being used for a wider range of roles than you might think. Whilst the majority is still focussed on high volume recruitment such as grad attraction, there has been an increase in its use for the hiring of senior and middle management.
Research has shown candidates value the flexibility of when they can complete their interview, as well as the opportunity it gives them to showcase themselves at an earlier stage of the hiring process.

From the opposite angle, resourcing teams have cited a reduction in time to hire, improvement of candidate selection (76% of respondents to a recent survey revealed they had changed their opinion of a candidate after seeing their video interview!) and the opportunity to showcase their employer brand as their key positives, facilitating better collaboration and overall staff experience.

All the way down to O2’s stunning head office in sunny Slough - a great opportunity to catch up with the team for our regular quarterly review.

New Chapter's new chapter
|
Anna and Steve were asked along to New Chapter’s new office opening party, right in the heart of Leeds. Having worked with them for around the last 13 years, we have seen New Chapter grow from a team of three to the three-site operation they are today!
Getting to meet so many of the team and putting faces to names was brilliant and they’ve done an amazing job with the actual space - from the pool table and gaming area, to the bar and sweets themed meeting rooms! All in all a very pleasant way to spend a Friday afternoon!
